All of the band’s albums have surpassed the one million mark.  The Eagles’ album catalog consistently sells more than 1.5 million records annually.

In 1998, the Eagles were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, in their first year of eligibility.

While the Eagles are credited with purveyors of the “Southern California Sound,” none of the band members hail from the Golden State.  Glenn Frey is from Michigan, Don Henley from Texas, Timothy B. Schmit from Northern California, and Joe Walsh from Mars.
