Friday 1st July and Saturday 2nd July will be public holidays. However, in order to meet the expectations of the public, restaurants and shops in the Principality may stay open.

Special dispensations will be examined for retailers employing over thirty staff.

 

 

Wedding gifts

 

The royal couple do not wish to receive any gifts for their wedding, but would like donations to be made for the benefit of foundations and associations. Information concerning the allocation of the funds received on the accounts opened for such purposes will be provided in September.

 

Spin-off products

 

The first official spin-off products will be on sale from 23rd May. The whole range will be available in the first week of June.

The partners of the royal wedding

 

LEXUS

In the light of his commitment to the environment, the Sovereign has chosen a Lexus hybrid car to travel to Sainte Dévote’s Church (Patron Saint of the Principality) so that the Princess can lay down her bouquet. By Sovereign Decision of 5th January 2011, the Prince granted this car manufacturer the title of official supplier.

 

BMW Group France

BMW Group will provide the Prince’s Palace of Monaco with a fleet of 200 BMW 7 Series limousines for the royal wedding.

 

These limousines will be used on an exclusive basis to carry the High personalities invited by the Principality during the festivities of Saturday the 2nd of July.
